Sewing Empowerment Program
Our sewing school is one of our most impactful initiatives, providing women with the skills and resources to achieve financial independence. Graduates receive a sewing machine upon completion, equipping them to start their own businesses. Some participants also benefit from micro-loans, enabling them to grow their enterprises and contribute to their communities’ economies.
Salama Medical Centre: Affordable Healthcare for All
The Salama Medical Centre is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare. Medical consultations cost as little as $3.50 USD, making essential services available to those in need. Since its founding, the clinic has employed 15 medical professionals, offering both healthcare solutions and job opportunities in the community.
Microfinance for Women Entrepreneurs
This program provides financial support to women, including graduates of our sewing school, as well as others launching small businesses such as food stands and local restaurants. By fostering economic self-sufficiency, this initiative strengthens communities and creates lasting financial opportunities.
Community Outreach and Humanitarian Aid
Beyond our core programs, we are committed to supporting local organizations throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We have donated medical supplies to Kingasani Hospital and Kalembe Lembe Children’s Hospital, delivered food and blankets to retirement homes, and provided clothing and toys to orphanages.
Orphanage Support and Child Welfare
We provide care for up to 75 orphans at a time, ensuring their basic needs are met. Depending on available funding, we also support their medical care and education, helping to create a stable foundation for their future.
